Easyjet luggage weights...

Easyjet luggage weights...
Hi,
Has been a while since I flew EZY - off with them later in the week. We have three bags booked - my amateur weighing has one at 10kgs, one at 14kgs and one at 18.8kgs (the cause for concern)
Are they sensible enough to just work on the total weight as being less than 60kgs or can I expect grief at the airport if their scales don't match up with mine & have to re-pack o the floor?

You've confused me a bit here. On my routes, two people can buy 40kg then increases are in 3kg lots. For your weight you would buy 43kg, not 60kg (or 61kg to follow the 3 kg increases).
If you've purchased 3 bags between 2 people plus increased weight, then the split you describe is OK, but Easyjet ground staff might not know this so take screenshots or something in case.

There are 5 of us travelling and we've paid for 3 bags at 20kgs each.
Bags 1 and 2 are well under according to my bathroom scales. Bag 3 is just under, but those scales aren't always the most accurate. My concern is that the airport weigh it as 21kgs so even though we're totalling well under 60kgs, they get anal about the one bags that's just over

Easyjet's policy explicitly allows you to spread the weight across the bags. See http://www.easyjet.com/planning/baggage
"If you are travelling in a group of two or more on the same booking and have booked bags, you may spread the weight of your luggage across the bags. For example, two passengers with a bag each may carry 20kg of luggage each, but if you wish to put 18kg in one bag and 22kg in the other, then that’s okay with us. You’ve just got to remember that you cannot exceed the 40kg total weight allowance without paying additional charges. A few really important things to remember:
•We support health and safety guidance for checked luggage and recommend that you keep the weight of each individual bag below 23kg wherever possible.
•Legally we must apply a maximum limit of 32kg so any individual bag weighing more than 32kg cannot be accepted!"
