Cruising?

My family and I are thinking about doing a cruise with stops in Nassau and Freeport Bahamas. Anyone know if its possible to leave the ship in a wheelchair and if so, are there any activities that are wheelchair accessbile? Or would the wheelchair person be "stuck" on the ship in those ports?

I've searched high and low and haven't found anything on those ports accessibility wise.
