Pumpkin spice already! So, Fall is here, but hard to realize, in the middle of 95 degree heat. Love that flavor anytime, though.

This just means Starbucks ended summer and now we have to deal with the sweet drinks for another six months. I swear, every year they come out earlier and earlier. At one point they came out right before Thanskgiving.

Next up, the Christmas Eggnog Latte that will come out on Halloween?

I am still trying to get ahold of the elusive ristretto.

I take it back after having one today. Perhaps my tastes have changed (or the recipe?) since winter but it wasn't good and had a lingering unpleasant aftertaste.

Anyone know where to find good ristretto widely available in the US?

Definitly not at starbucks, I almost **** when I tried their espresso, ristretto, they don't even know about its existencce - this is why they put all the milk, sugar, cream and artificiall flavour into their coffee
In order to not make you recognize that their coffee beans aren't that great.. Indeed, I have to admit: GREAT marketing.

The only chain I know who makes good espresso and ristretto is belgian: "Le pain quotidien"

@home: Try out Nespresso - I was really suprised by the taste
