Looking for the nooks and crannies in Tel Aviv

I'm a former NYer who just set up shop here. I want to know where the good and/or happening local places are, restaurants and bars. Any advice is appreciated, just don't send me to Mike's!

Toda,

Keith

We ate at Piccola Pasta a couple of times when we were there in December. Reasonably priced, very good Italian food, extensive wine list with many Italian and Israeli labels, and super nice people. The bar upstairs is a cool space too. If you do a search, you can find a few reviews. It's well known, but Aboulafia in old Jaffa is worth the trip. Fantastic bakery but you have to eat it as a picnic.

I went to the Middle East forum and searched Tel Aviv. I imagine your question will soon move to that forum.

(There is a DiningBuzz sticky above the forum, which I think is worth reading.
Posts about specific international dining will almost always be sent to the appropriate regional forum.
Where should I put my thread? Why did my thread get moved? READ THIS please

There were 265 results. Many weren't dining related but there seemed to be some quite long threads, so a little effort in searching in that forum is probably a good start.

Here's one: 2 weeks in Israel in April --- Looking for advice

Religious Travelers forum might also have something interesting.
Probably not the drinking part.

There is likely to be something useful already in these forums.
Good luck with your search!
