Moderators' Note:

Thoughtful concerns have been raised about this thread....

After due consideration, we've decided that in the interest of a) not creating an opportunity for post-padding -- intentional or not -- (barred by FT Rule 14); and b) having a thread that is not unintentionally dominated by a small number of people (giving space for other voices), going forward there will be a two-post-per 24 hours rule in place. We hope that this will give more diverse voices the opportunity to chime in.

We'll be merging or deleting posts that don't follow this rule.

Thanks for you understanding.

V-8 Splash and Barbanourt rum from Haiti. I don’t like it but I dislike them worse separately.

You think diet Coke tastes better?

I have cut down on my regular soda drinking and find Zero tastes a lot more like the "real" thing.

I've been drinking Diet Coke for so many years that even the taste of Coke Zero Sugar makes me nauseous.

It's the same with my mother too, for her the "real" coke taste is Diet Coke.

Nothing beats Diet Coke. Over the years, my partner has moved from Diet Coke, to Lime Diet Coke, to now, Coke Zero. I, however, have stayed true. And that first sip of the day of a can of icy cold Diet Coke is heavenly!

I had to "tolerate" Coke Zero in Japan last year. That first one after getting home felt fantastic! LOL
