Black Angus slots well below Claim Jumpers. Shorter menu, less inventive entrees, smaller average tab, older properties, less salubrious locations. Black Angus is for people who think Cheesecake Factory is too intimidating.

There was a SABA near my last office. I went there four times in two years for lunch, and the menu was different every time. I had fond memories of BA from my youth. We always went there with our dates before a school dance.
