Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but Sussex is the very best ginger ale out there.

Unfortunately, since I can't get it in Texas, I'll buy Canada Dry then Schweppe's or Seagram's depending what's on sale. But then I have to beat the other New England transplants vying for one of the two 12-packs the stores here stock. God forbid they take any shelf space from Dr Pepper!

Bundaberg here. Available in regular and diet at World Market (Cost Plus) stores.

Now if only they'd start importing the Bundaberg Rum <sigh>

In addition to the regular ginger ale that Canada Dry has, I also love the cranberry flavor as well ^

I love Sprecher's Ginger Ale. You can taste quite a bit of ginger in it. It works great as a mixer. Though it's pretty spicy and I always need a "chaser" when drinking it (without any alcohol)!

Their Root Beer was rated as the best root beer in the NY Times dining section a little while ago.

Agree completely - it's one of the best diet sodas (little/no' 'aftertaste'). Fairly easy to find in South Florida (2-liter plastic bottles, cans are more rare).

Yes, yes, and again, yes!

Absolutely the best. If anyone knows where you can buy this in the United States, please PM me!

Here's my Stoney story:

As far as Ginger Ales that can be commonly purchased here, I honestly just buy the store-brand stuff since even Canada Dry pales in comparison to Stoney. If you're gonna have lame-o gingle ale, it might as well be the cheapest stuff on the shelf.

Schweppes for me ^

I drink Canada Dry because it's easier to get sometimes, even though my local Von's carries Schweppes as well.

Now if they would have Schweppes Bitter Lemon that would be great :)

+1

Also, Fanta ginger ale (only available from a fountain in the U.S.) is a favorite.

If we are talking Ginger Ale, then it is Kirk's followed by Schweppes. Sadly we can only get it when we go to Australia.

But if we are talking Ginger Beer then it is definitely Bundaberg Ginger Beer.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

With Whisky = Canada Dry

I'm looking to kick back with a Dark & Stormy drink tonight, thanks for all the ginger beer suggestions.^

Polar Ginger Ale. Only 320 calories in 1 liter bottle, thus very light tasting.

Blenheim's, hands down. Unfortunately, being back in the North, it's hard to find...
