If you can find "White Rock" it's a brand that all the top resturants use.. only sold through distributors.. I've not seen these the in te supermarkets for @ least 15 years... There cola is also very good with a bite.. like all there beverages..

I love Canada Dry.
I also love Reed's Ginger Brew, the original style. |
I'll second, third and fourth Blenheim's out of SC. They are right on the SC/NC border, behind all the junk of South-of-the-border. But they don't offer visits.

Vernors, in a glass bottle

Bundaberg Ginger beer from Australia. awesome. Luckily my local BevMo often stocks it.

My vote goes to: Stoney Tangawizi which is bottled only in Africa (by coke).
Very strong ginger taste and also very sweet. This was my (soft) drink of choice when I was living in Uganda. |

I'm a fan of Polar ginger ale (Massachusetts company). They make the golden kind too. It's mostly nostalgia; I usually bring a case back after visiting the family in Boston.

I love Canada Dry ginger ale, and remember if you get at all car sick or air sick this can help settle your mildly upset stomach.

Edited to add: Fentiman's, too, though my wife will gladly kill to find Jamaica Old Tyme. |
I second (or third i guess lol) the notion for Vernors. Nothing like vernors and ice cream either :) I miss it actually. :(

we already looked at WR as a generic brand, that is mostly watered down OK maybe the best of the generics, but far from being anything of quality IMO |
Diet Vernors - if drinking it straight (non-diet too sweet for me)
Polar golden - haven't had it in many years, but remember it fondly Canada Dry - if mixing with Canadian whisky Blenheim & ginger beers - too dang hot! |
Bundaberg here. Available in regular and diet at World Market (Cost Plus) stores.

Being from Detroit and also being a traveler, I have tried them all, but Vernor's is still the best. Try with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Vernors and Schweppes are my favorites. And according to Wikipedia, yea I know, they are two different styles of ginger ale. |
