Yikes. Think I'll stick with my bacon wrapped scallops and prawns.

Actually, I think I'd like either of these. Bacon pretty much goes with anything, IMO. :p

If the bacon had been dipped in Dark Chocolate, I'd be on my way to the store :)

Bacon Cookies

These actually sound pretty good. How many times have you "accidently" poured maple syrup on their bacon or sausages? Bacon does indeed make everything better!

Perhaps a bacon/pecan pie? The cane-syrup filling in the pie would be very similar to your maple syrup.

Oh - and for missydarlin's benefit... I've got a dark-chocolate pecan pie recipe that would work as well.

Wrap bacon in corn, then wrap it in foil and grill it. Holy cow.... so good.

I was looking for this, but stumbled upon this recipe that looks interesting.

Once bacon has been cooked - and dipped in chocolate, coated in brown sugar or whatever - how long do you think it can safely sit out? I usually treat bacon as meat, so it should be kept refrigerated. Does it have enough salt/preservatives to sit out at room temperature for a couple of days?

I do sort of question the dipping it in chocolate...

....b/c bacon is already Nature's Candy.

This is so funny! I just ran across that velvet cake bacon link over the weekend because I'm going to a friend's birthday in a couple weeks and I was looking into whether or not I could bring a bacon cake.

I had a close friend in law school who used to say, "bacon, spinach, and compound interest are how we know God loves us."

In the words of Homer Simpson: "Mmm, bacon."

Showbizguru Apr 30, 2008 8:48 am

Warm pitta bread pocket filled with mashed hummus and avocado and some slices of bacon.

Yay !
