I originally misunderstood the question. My feeling is that a chocolate restaurant would melt by late March.
I vaguely recall a chocolate buffet on a cruise. It's much more appealing as the 5th or 6th meal of the day vs. one of the 3 main meals. Of course, all of my kids would have eaten a chocolate breakfast early in their lives.
And did.

On Saturdays from September through June at the Cafe Fleuri in the Langham Hotel in Boston, there is a Chocolate Buffet that is outstanding:

I took my mother there for Mother's Day last year and earned beaucoup browine points, much to the dismay of my sister. Highly recommended, and affordable for the amount and quality.

I watched what I'm guessing was an older episode of Iron Chef America last night with chocolate as the featured ingredient. Both chefs grilled tenderloin cuts with cocoa nibs as part of the crust and they looked fabulous.
I'd definitely go to a chocolate restaurant, at least once!

I would hesitate before eating at an all chocolate restaurant -- far too difficult to pair wines with!
On a serious note, Chocopologie in Manhattan has a chocolate-centric restaurant associated with it. I have always enjoyed their chocolates, but never tried a meal. I've heard and read mostly excellent things though, so consider giving it a try. www.chocopologie.com

Which reminds me that the Valor brand (Valor dark chocolate is pretty good, with or without nuts, the milk chocolate... not so much) has chocolate cafes (chocolaterias) all over Spain

There must be loads of chocolate beers around, here's one from a British company

A larger place in a more accessible location -- Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man -- has had a good run just off Union Square, the new food mecca. From the reviews I've read I'm not tempted, though I have walked through breathing deeply. They serve more than dessert, though.

I didn't know about it then. Do you think that *I* would pass up on a chance to go to a chocolate restaurant?
