_____berto's. Yes, there's Humberto's, Alberto's, Roberto's, and a host of other Mexican Taco Shops ending in the same magic letters (and occasional numbers to disntiguish themselves from the one down the block) scattered across town selling food out of drive-through windows. I've never eaten at a bad one. I will add to the call of In N Out and Wahoos, both excellent fast food IMHO. When I find something in Northern Indiana...I'll let you all know. |
Whiz burger but...
it went out of business here in Oregon. With a name like that and food that tasted well like...you guessed whiz. Memorable but not edible and you might not die for it but you could have died from it.;)

Next time order the jumbo. And add a cheese coney (Skyliner) on the side - you won't leave hungry.
BTW - you can find Skyline and Graeter's online along with Montgomery Inn (Ribs King) BBQ sauce if you are interested in the "cincinnati basket." It's not cheap, though. I've found cans of Skyline on eBay for just a smidgeon above the Kroger price. Also, a little hint for those of you who love those oyster crackers: They are actually KROGER brand oyster crackers, I kid you not. I learned this first hand from the President and CEO of Skyline Chili himself when I toured the commisary. You can find Kroger brand oyster crackers at, well, almost any Kroger-operated chain across the country. This has been your Skyline Chili PSA. I have a problem... It is sooooo good. Horrendous for you, but sooooo good. |

Wow. You might know more about Skyline Chili than anyone else, other than the CEO.

My favorites:
In-N-Out (obviously) Kirk's Steakburgers-small chain with 2 (3?) locations in the Bay Area. Really juicy steakburgers, with excellent toppings, and good garlic fries/onion strings. Steak-N-Shake: Been to Indiana twice, and I absolutely love this place. Burgerville is great as well. I had it a couple times when I was in Portland last year, and it was excellent. Armadillo Willy's BBQ. It's nowhere near as good as 'real' bbq (Texas, KC, Memphis, etc), but it's the best I've found in the Bay Area. |

No, it's not good for you. Not even a little bit. Didn't stop me from feeding it to my children tonight, though. You only live once.
Plus, isn't this the reason why gyms exist? So we can eat delicious crap? :) |
Pastrami!
I loooove pastrami, so The Hat is my local chain in SoCal to die for. ^
http://www.thehat.com/ It's not too expensive either, $6.49 for a pastrami dip that's big enough to feed 2. |

Armawillo Dilly's (as my kids called it) is not only nowhere near as good as real BBQ, it's not worthy in many ways. Try Uncle Frank's on Old Middlefield and Rengstorff instead of Willy's. |

Five Guys in DC area (though I'm upset that they're expanding so fast).
Yes! Though I've only had it once, it makes my list. |

Kirk's and Clark's (similar) are in the South Bay. Cooked fresh over a real wood fire, not cheap.

Know any good places on the Peninsula? I liked Austin's in MV when I lived down there (since closed AFAIK) and Big Nate's up in the city, but around RWC/San Meteo etc all I know is Willy's
