I am a big fan of cereal and eat it most mornings. I like most of the cereals in the Quaker Essentials line (including the aforementioned Oat Squares and Crunchy Corn Bran, both of which are regulars in my pantry).

I also like the Newman's Own Blueberry/Pecan cereal. IMHO better than the Macadamia/Cranberry variety. These cereals are sold under the Kirkland brand at Costco. However, the blueberry/pecan version only appears for a few weeks at a time and then disappears for months from the stores in this area, at least.

On this St. Patrick's Day, I'm craving a bowl of Lucky Charms. However, I generally stick to Frosted Shredded Mini Wheat.

Cracklin oat bran and crispex, I liked these even when I wasn't old.

Changes from time to time, for the last 4 or 5 months Kellogs Cornflakes with a sliced banana and some 0.1% fat yoghurt.

Before that I ate Dr. Oetker Knusper Schoko with milk for almost 2 years.

re: cereal

I bought Grape-nuts last week for the first time in awhile. I don't remember it being so hard! I have to cook it now to save my poor, old teeth.
