There's just something not quite right about having tortellini at McDonalds.
The weirdest fast food offering though for me was not at a McDonalds, but rather a Fried Fish gordita at a Taco Bell in San Juan

It's a fish taco in a different wrapper... What's weird about that?
(...yes, I went to school in San Diego, and lived on fish tacos with the surf crowd down in P.B.)

In the South of France a few months ago they were testing several new beef and chicken options. I don't have pictures and only could bear to try once given all the other great food. I had a McCurry Chicken which was really just a fried chicken patty with curry sauce but the bun was also curry seasoned! In fact, all of the special offerings had special buns to match the theme. Sadly these are not on the McD's France menu now - there's some Chicken Mythic now - so I can't find them.
They also have a Croque Do - I think it's like a croque monsieur but on some sort of flat round toast.
As asides, I do recall the McPizza when it was tested in New York at least 10 years ago and it was really good. Like the Pizza Hut personal pizzas but less greasy. And the Poutine in Canada is really bad. I guess unless you REALLY love McDonald's fries. Had it once - and I love Poutine - but never again at McDs.

This thread just serves to find out what chains either stateside or around the world offer something unusual or something not typically McDonalds (chicken mcnuggets, big mac).
While I was with my wife visitng TPE, there was actually a so-called "Rice burger" as one of their value meals. The burger bun is actually made out of individual rice. I thought it was quite interesting.
There are several Ocean City, MD McDonalds that offer crabmeat burgers. I wouldn't recommend them, it's probably 1/4 or even less real crabmeat.
