Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts Coffee?
 

I would have to say Starbucks.

What is your favorite?

I too prefer Starbucks. I'll admit I didn't like Starbucks initially; however, I loved the ambience of the stores and quirkiness of some of the employees. Starbucks coffee slowly grew on me.

Dunkin Donuts.

Far superior, with much less attitude. Sort of like me. :o

Starbucks over DD by far as I like dark coffee and feel happiest when I have my double tall latte. I prefer Peet's to Starbucks.

I'm pretty addicted. I now have one of those fancy digital espresso makers (purchased at Starbucks) that grinds the beans when you press a button, makes espressos and regular coffee as directed, and then pushes the grounds into a special container and periodically to clean it or give it water or beans. I order Zabar's Double Dark Espresso beans online (they somehow arrive the next day with regular shipping) and am in heaven (at least after I wake up).

price is right and dont have to deal with 100 soccer moms ordering
1/2 decaf,two pump mocha, lite whipped cream, etc etc.

DD is nicer and I dont speak SB.

I love Starbucks.....thou I try to avoid too much caffine. I do love sitting on the padio, people watching and havin g a nice cup of Java.

Love Tim Horton's!! Stop in there every time I'm in Columbus, OH. Unfortunately no DD nearby, but have a Starbucks across the street from my home and spend way too much time there!

Starbucks (or Peets) for me. I like lots of body and lots of attitude!

Dunkie's for me.....nothing pretentious about it.

I prefer Starbuck's to Dunkin Donuts. I like the darker, heavier roasts. Though Dunkin is still good coffee. Lately my favorite has been Caribou. They have started popping up in Pittsburgh over the last year. Still no where near as ubiquitous as Starbucks. YMMV...

For your regular black/ 2 sugars morning cup, it's definitely Dunkin' Donuts for me - Starbucks in unadulterated form tastes too burnt. I even buy the pound bags of DD for home consumption on the weekends. :)

Starbucks does do some good beverages that involve some coffee though - love the caramel macchiato and recently enjoyed their new iced banana/coconut frappucino. Although I also like DD's iced Caramel lattes, as well as their fruit smoothee type drinks - so I can go either way with these...just not too often because they are tres fattening!
