First off that is disgusting. But I would of threw up on the table, then left.
One time I was at a sushi bar and there was a worm in my tampura, so I asked for a zipblock bag, put the worm in the bag and showed it to everyone in the restaurant. Almost everyone left.(after paying) Also whoever said that thing about rat hair in peanut butter, thanks for ruining my favorite snack. I will never eat peanut butter again. |

Cite please? deltajfk-There are federal limits for everything in food (rat hair, feces, insect parts, etc.) Most of the time, the limits are quite small. Think about it-if there was a 0% absolute limit, then a single rat hair in a 1,000 gallon PB batch could potentially make it all have to be thrown out. |
YES! Call health department

Is there a food critic in the local newspaper? I'd call that person too. Post your experience on the major food websites too. You would be doing foodies in that city a tremendous favor! |
