Another $1000 drink

These seem to be popping up more and more nowadays.

No, it's not $1000 worth of alcohol, it's top shelf liquor but is served w/ gold cup and silver straw. They must be compensating for something...

Yeah-I posted this thread bc of that ruby thread. I'm wondering if they are getting the idea from him (and more importantly-all of the free advertising they got from it...)

I can hear the justification to the SO "but it was for charity". Perhaps one can get a tax writeoff for this drink?
