Bacon wrapped cheese logs!

OK all you high-brows. I have found the ultimate Wisconsin delicacy. But I found it in Macedonia. Having been raised on the fine tradition of cheese logs back in Wisconsin, I was both shocked and pleased to find bacon-wrapped cheese logs in Skopje. Not only that, but they do inside-out cheeseburgers. They somehow get the cheese inside the burger. And do these folks know how to barbecue!

So now when tourism increases in Skopje, you can claim the credit! (Maybe they'll at least ship you a free cheese log as thanks!)

P.S. Macedonia, huh? Can we get a travel report when you return??????

Mmmmmm.... pork and cheese, all we need are potatoes!

Today I mixed Blue Diamond smoked almonds with some very soft blue cheese from Whole Foods. That was so good... but a touch of bacon flavor (and fat) would have made it absolutely incredible!

I am truly suspicious. Something about this doesn't seem very kosher to me!

Not to get side-tracked, but I did have a fine dessert in Positano, Italy recently which I can only describe as inside-out twinkies, soaked in Grappa.
