iDine midnight cutoff on no rewards days

I just spoke with CS at Rewards Network re: days that restaurants do not offer rewards. Since everyone eats so late in Miami and NY there is an opportunity to circumvent the “off” days. If your restaurant does not offer rewards on Saturday, you can get credit if your bill closes after midnight Saturday since it would technically be Sunday (assuming rewards are offered that day). If it’s Friday (rewards offered) and your bill closes after midnight (Saturday when no rewards are offered), you can contact Rewards Network, fax credit card slip and get credit.

This is all based on CSR, and I did not see it in writing anywhere, so take it FWIW. If this has been covered, I apologize for the duplicity. I searched “idine midnight” before posting.
