Comme Chez Soi Brussels-Anyone Been There?

Search didn't reveal much, which surprised me. Anyone eaten at this three Michelin star restaurant? I tend to avoid these ultra-high-end joints as expectations are often not met, but would like opinions from folks who have eaten there.

I have not been there, but would go, when I am again in Brussels.
German "Feinschmecker" says that it's very good ... and "you will
have fun too" ... (meaning funny, friendly service)

Go with all haste and speed! Outstanding menu. Wonderful, intimate setting. You are provided with amuse bouche and a teasing dessert at the end, so share an appetizer and dessert. Bring your wallet...

I went there 3 years ago, and felt walking out that it was worth my money.

The service from when you walk into the door is very good; not overbearing at all but just right to make you feel that they know how to take care of you. We decided to go for the 7 course menu... spreading 7 small dishes over the course of almost 3 hours was great... did not feel full/have thoughts of "i ate too much" at all. Wine was excellent and they even put the wine label on label paper for me.

It is small, does not seat a lot of people. An older couple sitting across from us made us laugh... the lady at the table was not pleased with her choice of seating.. "I can't be seen!".

There is a table in the kitchen to eat and mingle with the chef... if I go back that is where I want to sit. I have heard others who liked that experience.

Was it my favorite? No. But is it good-- yes, good service, food and wine and you will not feel "i wasted the money".

Went there 3 years ago for lunch and think it was decent. Overall, I wouldn't say it is as good as some of the other dining experiences at 3 stars or French Laundry. I think their most famous dish is some type of fish in cream sauce but it has been some time and I don't really remember which type of fish it is supposed to be.
