Jean Georges dress code

Okay. Is it jacket and tie for men for lunch? What about for my fourteen year old son? I have only dined there with female clients which is why I am asking.

I have dined there wearing jeans and an untucked oxford shirt. No issues then.

Edited to mention this was in Shanghai.

I believe that the cafe (Nougatine (sp?)) does not require a jacket.

Jacket for gentlemen--young man should probably wear a shirt with a collar, jacket optional.
