NYC cheap lunch menus at good restaurants?
Hi!
I´m in NYC in two weeks. Last time I had an excellent and inexpensive lunch (20$) at the "Mercer Kitchen".
Are there other top-restaurants which offer such lunch-specials. Especially in the SoHo area? I´m especially interested in restaurants offering Asian food.
Thanx for the recommendations.
Tom

Through the end of this week, a number of restaurants are still offering "Restaurant Week" $20.12 lunches. You can get the list at nycvisit.com.

Not Asian restaurants, but the following consistently offer top quality lunches at affordable prices, year round:
Aureole.....$25 for 3 courses after 2:30PM
Le Cirque......$35 for 3 courses, $28 at the bar.
IMO, both are worth every penny...

In mid-town one of my favorite places for lunch under 20 is Fresh Basil 663 Lexington Ave. between 55th and 56th.
The Chicken Parm is great as our their pasta dishes and the most expensive item on the menu is about 15 dollars or so.
