Chicago dining

On a recent trip to Chicago discovered two new (for us) restaurants that we thought were great! One was NoMi on North Michigan (French) and the other was Va Pensiero in Evanston (Italian). Great food, good waiters, excellent ambiance - the view down Michigan Avenue from NoMi is spectacular if you get a table by the window, and we ate outside in the garden at Va Pensiero on a beautiful evening. Neither place has music, and that adds to the charm for us!
