Restaurants Between Scranton and Binghamton

Can anyone recommend a dinner restaurant along I-81 between Binghamton, NY, and Scranton, PA? We are three couples, one each from Philadelphia, Utica and Northern New Jersey, who want to get together for 2-3 hours over a meal -- and then drive home. While we are foodies, fine dining isn't required. Thanks.

If you're willing to make it all the way to Binghamton, there are two long-time restaurants there of some note (local note, at least)....

Number 5s American, steak+seafood In an old firehouse
Vestal Steak House As the name would indicate, a steakhouse.

For the area, both are very good.

There are a bunch of chain places that opened up in Scranton, if it's more for meeting friends and just chatting. Like Ruby Tuesday, Don Pablo, Fresno

Thanks, Oakland, NJ, neighbor! Are any of them north of Scranton (to shorten the trip for the Uticans)?

Maybe just slightly north of scranton by an exit or 2, down from the main interchange when you are coming 380 onto 81 neighbor. If you want to go a little further north than scranton there is also a Cracker Barrel like 2 exits into
NY State once 81 cross the border.
