Hi everyone,
I could you some advice from all of you.
I have never traveled Europe, Spain or Italy
We will probably go from Madrid to Barcelona followed by somewhere in Italy. Maybe Florence, Malian, Venice or other places based on suggestions. The last place we need to end up is Rome where we catch our return flight to LHR where we will have a two night stop over in before retuning home to the US.
Any suggestions you have about places that we must eat at as well as must sees or places to stay would be great!
Thanks

Please give more infos. When? How will you travel, by car, train etc.? Budget?
All these will decide what you'll be able to experience... So please, be more specific.

Forget Milan. It is a business and fashion center but apart from the Duomo, La Scala and "The Last Supper" there is very little to see.
Venice is fantastic. It is worth a side trip even if your schedule is FLL-MIA-FLL.

Hi,
We will be mostly traveling by train or plane and I would imagine taxis once in the cities. We defiantly could rent a car when needed and I normally prefer to fly but see the beauty of taking a train to see the country side when recommended.
I usually stay in nice pretty nice places but we are going to be away for 21 days total so I want to pace ourselves as far as costs. I don't mind spending money for something that is worth it. I figured an average of $200 a night for logging over the entire trip. I am sure some nights will be higher and some may be a bargain.
Basically we are pretty flexible and looking for suggestions of any hidden gems...B&B's, hotels, places to eat, things to do, etc..
Alanw,
Love to meet up...Any suggestions on where to stay in Barcelona, las ramblas looks like the place but any hotels that you recommend?
