In PHL, I went to RAW last night. Nuevo Sushi. Binny Roll was quite good.

More like $50USD a person.

To stay on topic, they do offer a Kobe Caparccio as an appetizer to be shared.

Oh the sides at Barclay Prime were outstanding. For example, I had the buttere d corn and asked for light light butter. And it was still fantastic, the corn kernels were sliced right from freshly cooked ears of corn.

I now have an opinion since I have eaten there! Soooo good. The steak I had was delicious. It did not have a sauce but just a little bit of salt and pepper. I ordered onion rings with it because I never have an opportunity to eat them. They were enormous and very tasty. The cheesecake was delicious as well... and huge! It is the best steak I've had thus far... but it looks like there are many places to try! ^

I went to Ruths Chris the other day, the steak was great (ordered without butter, but with fresh chopped garlic).
I found the service to be very obnoxious though, they were very patronizing with my uncle. They were loud and spent too much time up-selling "would you like this with it, or perhaps some side dishes"?! WE can read the menu, and I know what I want!

I"m not a fan of the butter on my steak and that's had an effect on my opinion of RC, otherwise they've been fine when we've eaten there (but IMO not close to being a favorite). I'll have to ask next time for my steak sans-butter...and the fresh chopped garlic sounds like a ^ too

Smoky's Club in Madison, Wisconsin. The filet mignon (medium rare) is tasty. The bread butter is delicious.

St. Elmo in Indianapolis. Outstanding filet mignon (medium).

I'm very surprised that Capitol Grill ended up tops of the chains according to Consumer Reports.

I went there once and was disappointed. In fact my steak which I order medium well came out medium rare (It was still mooing!!!)

Not the greatest of service either.

Maybe things have improved since I went four years ago. Maybe I should try the one in NYC.

III Forks in Dallas would be #1 in my book, with Peter Luger in NY coming second, and Del Frisco's in Dallas third.

Most overrated? The Range in Las Vegas. Both times there they have managed to mangle my steak. Never again.

III Forks was good, but I would not list it at #1 for me.

Peter Luger’s was quite tasty, but — as Brooklyn is my original home, I am ashamed to say this — again I would not list it as #1 for me.

Don’t get me wrong — I would recommend both of them, but there are better choices elsewhere in the United States, in my opinion.

I have never been to Del Frisco’s...
