IDINE report--Fort Worth, Texas

I have been racking up IDINE miles by dining at both Cafe Aspen and Harrigans. Cafe Aspen is a real secret in Fort Worth. Fine dining without the highest prices of so many of those places.

Cafe Aspen is located in a strip shopping center on Camp Bowie about a 15 taxi ride from down town. There are 2 dining areas. The fancy front area and the jazzi, dark and lovely bar in the back. those in the know eat in the bar. Check IDINE WEB site for days when you get the miles.

Harrigans is a hamburger/steak/bar place on South Hulen about 25 minutes by taxi from down town. The meat and drinks are very good. Medium priced even with drinks.

Bellagio on Bryant Irvin Road is also 25 minutes by taxi from downtown. Another strip shopping center place. However, Bellagio is expensive by Fort Worth standards.

There are a couple other Fort Worth restaurants listed on IDINE, but I don't know anything about them. Of all the choices, I recommend Cafe Aspen as the best for quality of food and drink and acceptable prices.
