I joined, since I have a BA FF card.
Register your CC, and 10 miles per $ at their list of restaurants(I only have a US list), up to $600 bill, once a month (lots of fine print).
Takes longer to post than to get your luggage at LHR. I got 2000, and 3300 miles for two dinners, after about 90-120 days.
