i first started taking food photos with a camera in the 90s in Germany. So many fun foods that I didnt know at home.

not sure how you would feel about Johnny doughnuts as theyre more than $3.25 - you can get a sense for their doughnut prices matched with their coffee prices. JD is possibly my favorite luxury donut and I only get them twice a year now; I used to go more often. Next time Im there Ill snap photos of their prices.

I too didnt know Spudnik names for donuts. Wow.
suddenly the $3.25 isnt looking super outrageous - come to Sf and Ill take you to Johnny doughnuts in Hayes valley. Their old fashioned is actually NOT what I like whereas Ill get the old-fashioned donut anywhere else as my top choice. Its that $11 for donut / coffee vs $11 luncheon comparison.
