I loved those things- Zingerman's called them "Cosmic Cakes". They occasionally do a special bake, but they won't ship them (I tried). I was told that they're too labor intensive to make on a regular basis, but wow they were SO GOOD.

Anything from zingerman's is great. They have chocolate chunk sourdough bread back this month and I love their sweet cream biscuits they make in the summer, I'll make the 50 minute drive up there just for those on a saturday morning and buy strawberry's across the street at their farmers market to put on them

Goldbelly now has Tipsy Scoop adult ice cream. I splurged and bought some of the Skrewball a few days ago and it was delivered yesterday and is really good and wish I would have known Goldbelly had it so I could have used the Am Ex offer of payyourself back.

They have a couple kinds of alcohol infused ice creams. I want to try the Mexican Hot Chocolate next but need to eat some of the stuff in my freezer first so I have room.

Does it stay completely frozen? I wanted to get frozen custard from goldbelly but I wonder about shipping messing up the quality.

Yep. I also ordered some amazing ice cream sandwiches from Nightingale and a frozen cheesecake from Eli's and always arrive frozen solid. They always ship them overnight in dry ice.

The Tipsy even came in a small box sized styrofoam cooler.

We had Momofuku shiitake buns the other day. I wouldn’t recommend. The buns weren’t light and fluffy enough. Not worth the price.

Having Puck’s truffle chicken pot pie tonight - will report back.

The Puck truffle chicken pot pies were great! Fluffy, flaky, crispy crust, very rich sauce and the truffle smell coming out of the oven to the table was fantastic. Serving size was generous as well. Would recommend.

I was going to order bbq with the 20% off code, but it expired before the stated 4/7 11:59 pm PT time. I also had a look at the iOS App Store and a lot of the app and product reviews are abysmal. I'm expecting Kossar's bialys today. I should say tonight because UPS seemingly does my street just before heading back out to the yard around 7-8 pm.

I'm pretty sure all of our orders have come via UPS. Yesterday they were so lazy they left the box in the middle of the walkway from the driveway to the front door.

Depends on where you buy from. The icecream sandwiches I love and the bagels I bought both came from USPS. The Eli's cheesecake and the Tipsy Scoop ice cream I bought came fed ex.

Everything I've ordered from Gold Belly I've received on the date promised.

Well color me wrong about getting my delivery tonight. My regular UPS man was off today and his sub driver did the route in different order. My box arrived at a stunningly early 2 pm. Lucky me.

The bialy are well packaged in their usual plastic bags. My sniff test failed to detect any hint of onion or garlic through the plastic. I toasted one right away and enjoyed every bite.

Are you guys ordering Goldbelly because of the Amex monthly promo? All my Amex cards just have the $10 per month food credit. I recall some folks mentioning a much larger promo amount for some cards.

Not sure if goldbelly works for the restaurant credit or is there also a food credit?

There is an offer to add to your card on their website you can add to your card for $50 off a $100+ purchase and can be used three times and expires 6/30. The only card I could find it on was my platinum unbranded card, wasn't available on my Hilton or either of my Delta cards. I bought 3-$100 gift cards that I will use after the Chase promo ends.

I've been using them because of the Chase Sapphire pay yourself back promo that has been extended for now until 9/30 where you get a 50% bonus on redemption of points on grocery stores and food delivery and Goldbelly qualifies and I have a ton of chase points to burn.

Goldbelly's prices are a lot more than I normally would pay but with the Am Ex and Chase offers and all the money I'm saving from not travelling I don't mind splurging now.

At the start of the year there was a spend $100 get $50 offer (x3) on the AMEX Plat (separate from the monthly food credits on the various AMEX cards)

I wonder how much of the discount Goldbelly passes along to the restaurant in this scenario... Tempting to get several of these.
