Actually, can you try to describe the thing from Malaysia? Do you think it was South Indian?

Picnic dinners in our hotel room in northern Italy when we felt lazy, usually consisting of:
- Prosciutto Crudo on Michetta rolls
- Frutti Di Mare
- Aranciata Rossa (blood orange soda)
- Cipsters
- Arancini (from the train station)
- whatever fruit was in season

Just realized that one of my returning guilty pleasures is something I never replicated at home. At my first visit to Brussels, aged 18, I had Moules Frites for lunch. This is a must on every returning visit ever since

For me, it's probably the Kingclip from Cape Town. I know it's probably not very different from many other white fish, but it's so good and no doubt the setting makes it doubly so.

Years of annual Germany visits...
rotkohl, spaetzle...
mixed salad with the German vinaigrette
pork products
charcuterie and sliced bread with butter
one day I’ll try to cook the non-pork products
I’m doing a lot of mixed salad but without tomato and with a different dressing.

Definitely yummy memory but I love most Bavarian potato salad. The Koeln potato salad has mayo and I asked my Koeln friend about it at the time. What a disappointment!!
