Help Me Cook Dinner Tonight

I'm working from home, and I'm stuck on what to make for dinner tonight. We had chicken and linguine with pesto sauce last night, pork carnitas the night before. We have no meats thawed, although our freezer has pork loins, ground pork, ground beef, beef tenderloins, and some chicken breasts. I have physical therapy tonight, so we won't be home to cook dinner until about 7 PM. As such, I'd prefer either something I can throw in the crock pot this afternoon or something that won't take much time after we come back. Alternatively, a combination of those would work too. I'm pondering chili and cornbread, because I could cook the chili in the crock pot and cook the cornbread before PT, but I'm not feeling inspired by it.

Put some chicken in the slow cooker with a jar of pasta sauce and cook on high for about 6 hours.

I'm too late to help, kipper. But I'd have suggested that you can cook ground meat straight from the freezer without any loss of flavor or texture and in not much more time than if it was already thawed. Throw some vegies and curry sauce in the pan and dinner is ready.

We picked up Chinese food last night. Tonight we're having chili and cornbread. If I can get motivated, I'm also going to make a birthday cake for Mr. Kipper, since today is his birthday.

Chicken with veggies, mint and potatoes will be best to cook in a busy day.
