Liquor Taxes by State
The beer taxes thread made me wonder about where our insanely high Liquor taxes in Washington rank (not surprisingly...#1).

Ah, New Hampshire! I assume there are still charter buses headed there from CT and NY, stopping at the first state liquor store over the line.

Golly! I knew OR's liquor taxes were high but not that high.
Gotta love NH. I remember my first time passing through from MA on my way to VT and just cracked up at the positioning of the first liquor store across the stateline: right next to a rest stop. ^
