I guess the real question is, how much is still left in the container?

About two thirds left :)

1. Cookie dough chip
or
2. Strawberries and cream
or
3. Salted caramel (just tried that for the first time)

90% of the time I can make it out of the grocery store without giving in the temptation but sometimes just give in (similar to the temptation of buying a box of Cocoa Pebbles cereal)

So, I must ask--have you tried combining the cereal with the ice cream? It's good with soft-serve (thanks for this knowledge, college dining halls!)...

I remember Frusen Gladje! I even remember the old ad for it: "I ate all the Frusen Gladje. And I'd do it again."

I don't eat much ice cream, since I have a lactose intolerance issue. I have found that I can eat a small gelato on occasion in Italy without consequence. Not sure why, though.

Have you lactose intolerant folks not heard of this product?

https://www.lactaid.com/products/fast-act-chewables

Comes in a few different forms, including in milk.

Yes... the thing about lactose intolerance is that sometimes I can get away with eating milk products without any side effects. Chewing pills is an inconvenience so I usually - and unwisely - take the risk.

(I probably get away with it more often than not because I drink the lactose-free milk. If I remember correctly, they make lactose-free milk by stuffing regular milk with the lactase enzyme and mixing it to digest the sugar before they package it. Even though the enzyme supposedly breaks down quickly, maybe there's a residual effect that lets me consume milk products without effect?)

The pills don't work for me.

^, I can't tolerate regular milk, thus I drink lactaid. However, I don't have any problem with ice cream, yogurt or cheese.

For the lactose-intolerant folks, some of the soy-based "ice creams" are OK, although they're more like regular ice cream than "premium."

If you like (ordinary) ice cream sandwiches, I can wholeheartedly recommend "Tofutti Cuties." They sell these at Trader Joe's, not sure where else.

They sell them at Krogers.

Ben & Jerry's just came out with a vegan option for several flavors. It hasn't made it to my local stores yet but friends in other parts of the country have tried a few flavors and told me it's a good option.

Okay so bought this one this evening at the grocery store:

Chocolate Chocolate Chip
14 fl oz (414 mL)

So far delicious.

So I buy a pint on Sat along with 2 pints of B&J and get a store coupon for $1 off two pints of HD which I promptly went back into the store and bought two more pints of HD for $3.58 total lol

HD costs around $13 for a pint in China and $5 for a single scoop cone. I still eat it all the time.

What do I do? I own an ice cream business where we manufacturer our own ice cream! I can eat as much ice cream as I can eat!!
