I tend to go on Tuesday nights, and they rarely have samples out.

We don't have Costco here in the home of Walmart and Sam's.

Great thread

I wish the samples in the UK were as good! All I've ever seem to get is a little bit of cold sausage and juice.

Tilapia with mango salsa the other day. Also recently beef pot roast with mashed potato. And weird juice. And red-and-white Valentine's Day cheese raviolis (buy these after 2/14 at a nice discount).

Go to a US Costco on Super Bowl weekend... every aisle and endcap has a sample station, with bigger-than-normal portions.

Large chunk of honey-smoked salmon on a multi-grain cracker. So good.

Was a bust today in Fullerton.
  • Surprisingly, the Morning Star Chipotle Black Bean Patty was the star with plenty of kick... and as long as I knew it wasn't trying to be a fake burger, I was ok with it.
  • Some white cheddar -
  • More salty brisket -
  • Butternut squash ravioli - meh
  • Kirkland sliced turkey on rye loaf - meh
  • Cream cheese mini muffins - meh
  • Pita & flatbread road show - meh

At least I downed a gummi vitamin on my way out

Was in my local Costco on 3/6/16, this was one of the samples offered, however there was this lady who had 4 small kids under 6 who scooped up 5 of the last 6 samples offered as the employee was breaking down the station at 4 pm. My wife got the last one and offered it to me. I declined as I know better than make her mad. @:-)

Others offered:
Corned Beef and Cabbage no
Special K Pastry Bar Strawberry/Blueberry ^
Special K "new" Cranberry Almond Granola cereal ok but dry? needs milk
Lentil Soup no

There were a few others, but since it was so close to 4 pm, many were already rolling their carts to the back for cleanup

Decent stuff out today for the Easter weekend:
  • Spiral cut ham - still not as good as Honeybaked, but better than average.
  • Reser's potato au gratin - also above average, but their mashed potatoes are way better.
  • Boursin cheese on a Ritz cracker - you can't go wrong with that
  • King's Hawaiian rolls - tasty
  • Raisin bread of some sort - delicious
  • Whole wheat English muffins - also tasty
  • Naked Juice - had a shot of Green Machine, and I feel much healthier now
  • Meatless teriyaki-glazed crispy chicken - surprisingly good and chicken-like
I skipped the smoked salmon on Philly cream cheese, coconut shrimp, battered cod, olive tapenade, sugar-snap pea snacks, gummy vitamins (adults and kids) and mixed nuts.
