kimchee pizza

Recently, I was chatting with a flight attendant who said he'd had it, but wasn't impressed; we're both Caucasians who like Korean food.

Anyone had kimchee pizza they liked? For what it's worth. I prefer radish to cabbage.

I could see it doing well with backpackers in Amsterdam and that's about it. Sounds pretty disgusting.

The kimchee is a topping, like pepperoni or onion.

That sounds horrendous. I've never understood why more American places can't do normal pizzas with toppings that actually go on pizzas and have some good base ingredients instead of using cheap, fake stuff.

We occasionally have grilled cheese sandwiches with cheddar cheese and kimchi at my home, they're a great late night snack. MrLapLap - who has eaten kimchi pizza - prefers kimchi as a toastie filling than as a pizza topping.

The idea of adding tomato sauce to a kimchi cheese toastie is not one that appeals to me, so I have no intention or plans of trying kimchi pizza. A kimchi quesadilla on the other hand....
