I've gone into restaurants and ordered 2 different desserts before ordering my entree.

My latest fave:
Suspension Cake @ Poor Calvin's in Atlanta - Red velvet cake layers, mascarpone cheese filling, berries, mango gel filled tapioca pearls

ive gone to restaurants just to get a special dessert, many times

the food quest im on now is to find chocolate fondant that approaches what was the best dessert ive ever had, at a now closed restaurant

Nah. I'm just not into desert after a meal. Occasionally something small a few hours later.

I love dessert, but I've grown really tired of the same ole offerings everywhere: tiramisu, creme brulee, chocolate lava cake, etc... I would love to a new dessert enter the arena.
