You don't have to eat it. It is a choice after all.

I look at all this "food" and think of all the heartburn that I would get.

emma69 Mar 27, 2014 10:21 am

A taco or wrap with scrambled egg in sounds good (skip whatever that other stuff is, bacon, chorizo?) Not all that different from eggs and toast really. The waffle taco on the other hand - bleugh!

UA Fan Mar 27, 2014 10:23 am

Was looking for breakfast a few days ago and stopped by a TB and noticed they were not open.

The waffle looks interesting.

i only eat taco bell when I'm really drunk...and I'm rarely really drunk during breakfast hours.

A friend said "I only eat taco bell when I can be home and use my own toilet. No way would I eat this and then go to work"

Spiff Mar 27, 2014 10:33 am

Should be a big "hit" in Colorado, Washington, and hopefully soon, Alaska. :D

TrojanHorse Mar 27, 2014 10:43 am

YUM!!

pseudoswede Mar 27, 2014 11:07 am

Waffle Taco?! Shut up and take my money!

notsosmart Mar 27, 2014 11:17 am

If I am going to eat fast-food breakfast, it's going to be Mickey D's. Their breakfast burritos are not awful, even the one on the dollar menu, which I always add to my meal.

But I haven't eaten fast-food this year yet. :)

dolcevita Mar 27, 2014 11:22 am

Ugh. Especially the waffle taco.

sonofzeus Mar 27, 2014 11:58 am

OJ is overpriced @ $2.

Mr. Vker Mar 27, 2014 12:14 pm

Holy crap. I opened this while on a conference call-unmuted. I blurted a laugh at the waffle taco. Had to cover quickly!

LOL, there is no way I can read omni during a conference call without the mute button on

on that note, the only way to get thru these conf calls is to be on omni :p

Live mas - Taco Bell

There's an "s" missing there.

im-headed-west Mar 27, 2014 1:23 pm

That waffle taco looks nasty ... will have to try it out this weekend !

MBS MillionMiler Mar 27, 2014 1:35 pm

Plagiarizing from a friend on Facebook who suggested some signs for their drive-thru windows:

"Why wait for lunch to start making bad decisions?"

"Good morning! You're about to call in sick!"

"Shart your day with Taco Bell!"

UA Fan Mar 27, 2014 1:47 pm

lol. Good ones.

tev9999 Mar 27, 2014 1:56 pm

McD's breakfast burritos (the $1 variety) have gone downhill. Size has shrunk and they tend to be over microwaved and dried out. I have been a fan of Del Taco's breakfast menu, but not many around here. Also like Jack in the Box, but none around here. I welcome the competition.

I rarely eat breakfast, but a stop here would probably be better than the Rooster Special I get at the local diner on occasion - two eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns and toast.

kipper Mar 27, 2014 2:03 pm

I think in an article I read, it mentioned that the waffle taco is surprisingly low cal.

I've never eaten at a Taco Bell - this does not give me a reason to change my streak.

Deleted by me.

370 for sasuage. The "crunchwrap" is north of 700 for sausage....

The egg mcmuffin (sans cheese) is 240 and the egg white delight mcmuffin is 200.

I think I'd rather have two of those vs the waffle taco. Problem is I like the hashbrown too ;)

*I ate a lot of taco bell circa the days of .59 chicken tacos in college. I haven't been to once since I got out. Their Doritos tacos always seem interesting to me but I've never tried one.

Considering that Dunkin Donuts advertises their turkey sausage breakfast sandwich as "under 400 calories," the 370 isn't too horrible. :)

I can't say that I'd try it though. :D

uastarflyer Mar 27, 2014 4:42 pm

More ways to get fat. Taco Bell adds Breakfast

I wish the regular menu would be available all day in fast food joints. And the hash brown product available all day too.

Especially at UA hub airports.

I agree (especially about hash browns).

I am in good conference call company.

[Removed "quote" of post for sake of bandwidth-limited folks]

This could be such a timesaver - so much of it appears to have been thoughtfully pre-digested.

Thanks, Taco Bell!

I just can't get past the urkfest burrito.

AGREED! The only better taco is the Choco-taco.

Mickey D's owns breakfast. The steak bagel (no egg) has been my favorite for many years. The hashbrowns are amazing. And the McGriddle? Amazing. (Although I learned never to eat a mcgriddle and hashbrowns and drive over bumpy sugarcane roads on Kauai.)

braslvr Mar 27, 2014 10:22 pm

McDs does own brekkie, but I'll give Taco Bell a shot next time it's convenient. I generally allow 800-900 calories for breakfast out of my ~1800 daily intake.

Now you made me laugh so much that I chocked on my food. :D

No wonder some sugar crop wasn't good that year. :p

iff Mar 28, 2014 3:32 am

Regardless of how it may taste, they did an outstanding job of making it look unappetizing in the photo.

vtmike Mar 28, 2014 8:44 am

Hey if Ronald McDonald himself is endorsing it, it must be good.

I don't care for the McDonald's hash browns. I much prefer the little round hash browns from places like Burger King or Chick-fil-A.

Sugar crop... Ocean... It was a bad day for it all.

I hate BK's little rounds. Hm. I don't know what to make of this.

The McDonald's one seems to always be very soggy in the middle.

The taco looks borderline edible, but the rest looks absolutely disgusting.

I think I've only ever once had taco bell as a kid - I like the idea, but my system just can't handle that kind of cheap food.
