Ricotta Cheese Spread Bases
Going to be bringing some homemade ricotta cheese spread to a party (simple - honey and almonds). What do you think would go good with this as a base?

Is it intended to be served as a cocktail snack, or as a dessert?
If a cocktail snack, I think a sliced baguette would be fine, as it would further lessen the sweetness. If a dessert, then, perhaps graham crackers or even fresh berries.

I'm guessing you want either a neutral base or one that complements it. Consider:
* Baguette
* Cinnamon raisin bread
* A fruit & nut bread (cranberry walnut or something similar)
* Cinnamon pita chips
* Strawberries
* Apple slices
* Table water crackers
