A couple of years back, waiting to depart DUB, I bought "on special" a L of Bushmill's 10 Single Malt. It stood unopened in my cabinet until this week's several cool, rainy days brought me to try it.
I was greatly disappointed, expecting a bit more body than most Irish bottlings, only to find, even "straight up" a very mildly flavored whisky without either round or complex flavor, most reminiscent of some modest rye and some of the 'light' Canadian blends.
Has my palate gone awry?
