Clay Baker Recipes?

About 15 years ago I was given a clay baker as a gift. I used it for the first time tonight to make some sweet potatoes and carrots with rosemary, and now I am completely sold on it.

Does anyone have any great recipes you have tried in a clay baker?

Thank you!

My guess is that you don't make much bread.

Try this method using your clay baker:

I love ours. Everything you can do in a slow cooker works in it. We use it mostly for things like lamb and beef shanks, stews, etc. For those, it's just mix the meat and the veggies, we usually add in some wine, and cook it for five or six hours at 300.

The clay lets it slow cook, the moisture stay in, the flavors are very intense.

Make sure you soak it first if yours requires soaking, and be aware that it will discolor over time, don't worry about that.
