Brandy
Perhaps you call it brandywine or brandewijn.
What brandies are out there? The only one I've tried was some of the 50 year old Napoleon cognac my grandpa gave my dad many years ago. I suspect it's far out of my price range.
What's out there that's good and won't break the bank?

I hope some others can offer suggestions from other fruits or regions, but I've been through phases where I drank through some Cognac and Armagnac grape brandies. I do find the Pierre Ferrand cognacs to be thoroughly enjoyable and a good buy at every price point. While the Ambre is good, the Selection de Anges is my favorite way to fill a snifter.
The Armagnacs have wider-ranging characters, and are a little less refined, though definitely enjoyable if you're in for that type of experience. While not the same thing, it's like drinking single barrel bourbon rather than blends.

You can choose according to your budget. Cognac is much expensive but enough to make your moments more joyful but go for Remy Martin having many types i.e. Remy Martin Louis Xlll, Remy Martin Extra, Remy Martin X.O, Remy Martin VSOP with a little price variation.
