I grew to love the various dishes of rice and beans along with fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet at a resort in Costa Rica each morning.
The healthy protein from the beans and the vitamins from the fruit made us feel great each morning during that trip. |
Breakfast is under evaluation in my life..
Any suggestions for vegetables in the morning? |

How about fried tomatoes....along with sausage, fried egg and some crispy bacon.:D
Everything fried.. Bad for the prostate though.. and I heard you can vastly reduce chances of prostate cancer by eating lots of veggies.. So I guess I'm going to have to resort to only fried tomatoes out of your selection.:(:D |
Asian Breakfast (noodles, dim sum) is wonderful.
BK croissant bf is nice too. Sausages are also great. Most importantly, espresso. :) |
I'm not a huge breakfast guy, but I like omlettes, cheese, mushroom. If we don't care about health requirements, then I love waffles with maple syrup, or some type of chocolate or strawberry in them. Chocolate milk too .)

Crispy bacon is supposed to be good for you in small amounts :) provided all the fat has been drained off..
|
i heard processed meats caused prostate cancer..
I guess omelette cheese and mushrooms is ok.. |

I only have a fried breakfast when I stay in a hotel. Generally I eat a selection from cereals, yoghurt, porridge, fruit, toast. That must be healthy enough. |

I have to say apart from maybe Asian food I've never heard of people having vegetables for breakfast.

I'm seriously exploring veggies for breakfast.. something I can ingest.. not really interested in V8.. veggies and dip is nice.. Actually at Subway for breakfast lately.. I've loaded up veggies on my egg while flat bread.. I think this is nutritious. |

I love veggie omelettes, although my standard breakfast fare on Sundays (or what had been, but that will change this Sunday) was:
My favourites are scrambled eggs, kippers or black pudding, tomato, fried bread, and sometimes baked beans. |
At a local place every once in a while:
Chicken fried steak with gravy, two fried eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. Side plate of pancakes. And unlimited Mimosa's!! |

These are your favourites, but your name is "kipper"? That is funny!
My favourites are scrambled eggs, kippers or black pudding, tomato, fried bread, and sometimes baked beans. Haggis for breakfast also sounds delightful.. :) |
