This one is tough...I love biscuits and gravy, but it is a toss up between it and bread/roll with jam and a thin slice of cheese.

A close third is a veggie omelet with cheese and toast. A good omelet is so good!

I'm going to throw in another favorite of mine:

Gumbo, Jambalaya, and BBQ Ribs for breakfast.. :D

Dimsum and Hot Pot rice is among my favorite brekkies in HKG! :D

When I'm at home: Oatmeal with butter, sugar & vanilla extract on the weekdays. On weekends, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and toast.

When I'm not at home: Depends on where I'm at, but there's always scrambled eggs and bacon involved.

Toast a slice of good sourdough bread then rub it with fresh garlic. Slice some good sharp cheddar, place it on the bread and pop it back into the toaster oven to melt. When the cheese is melted top it with garden fresh tomato slices and salt and pepper.

perfection.

When in LAS I always love weekend breakfast at Bouchon -- the chicken and waffles are divine as are the specialty croissants.

Occasionally I will have a Japanese breakfast at home -- poached or Japanese omelette, some broiled salmon, spinach, assorted pickles, umeboshi and some miso soup.

Otherwise, a nice bowl of chicken congee is also pretty darn fantastic!!

Japanese Breakfast, especially in Japan is a favorite of mine! Especially with lots of dashimaki tamago! ^

Chicken Congee with shredded omelette, thousand years old egg, and fried dough (referred to as cakwe sometimes).. That's one of my faves too! :D

I like Korean, Mongolian.. and especially Thai..

Thousand year old eggs I'm ok with.. but the Filipino half incubated chick eggs.. theres something to those carcasses :p
