You mean my comment was anti-climactic, or did you really think I'd made a Freudian slip? :p

I wouldn't touch it myself. The rumor is that consuming it makes you a little hoarse.

Wow, a lot of people have weak stomachs. I would not KNOWINGLY touch horse semen least talk about drink it. But I also find escargot disgusting, along with the aforementioned caviar and Rocky Mountain Oysters and other Sweet Breads, Blood Pie, Blood Sausage, Haggis, etc. However, just thinking about any of those things doesn't make me queasy or wish I had never known about them.

You're right. A lot of us have proven to be neigh-sayers.

I'm sure many of the people who have posted their utter disgust at the idea of consuming horse semen regularly consume eggs from chickens. Our delicious "milk" that we buy in the grocery might not sound so appealing if we weren't culturally used to drinking it and someone came up with the idea of drinking 'cow udder secretion'.

Not that I'll be consuming horse semen anytime soon, but it's interesting the way our cultural norms bias what we find disgusting versus what we consider to be a treasured delicacy.

+1

y'alls need to lighten up.

How about Shirako in Japan? I've had it, and while I would not regularly consume it, its popular enough in Japan...

I guess they're saving the durian and kimchi flavored horse semen for 2012.

I didn't think this could get nastier until you brought in these flavors. :puke:

what about bull semen

While this wasn't meant to be eaten, I saw it and thought of this thread. :)

COUDERSPORT, Pa. -- Police in north central Pennsylvania say they've solved the case of the missing bull semen.

Police in Sweden Township, near Coudersport, Potter County, say the package containing liquid nitrogen and 1,770 units of the bull semen were reported missing from a residence where it was to be delivered on April 2.

If I was looking for a good time, I'd hang out by the Mare-naise table and note which gals were not afraid to swallow it....

This thread made me think of a viral video I saw about 10 years ago...

As mentioned before, for those who eat sushi, many rolls are covered in fish roe. Roe is basically ripe egg masses of fish. Pretty gross if you think about it but they sure are delicious.

Having said that, i leave the horse semen shots to those far more culturally diverse than myself.

I was grossed out when I read this thread after it took a month or more to open. Now, I follow a tweet from Men's Health that leads me to a natural energy drink, if you're willing (or something like that). ANyway, it was the horse semen shots. How gross! No, I don't dare. Flavored, or not.
