Now that is more to my taste, although there is a chance that ice cream might include......as one of its ingredients...

A Parilla close to my apartment in Iquique Chile offers ubres (Cow's Udder). I have not tried it yet, will before I leave. I hear mixed reviews.

Sound perfect for one of those intimate tête–à–tête dinners.

This entire thread brings to mind the line attributed to Jonathan Swift,
"He was a bold man that first ate an oyster."

I'll think I'll just stick to the bird embryos for breakfast. ;)

:D That's a fitting climax to this thread so far.

More information here. It's the new energy drink, although perhaps it would fall into the category of Hors d'œuvre.

I saw this thread appear in the summary of forums on the main FT forum list, and I know I had to click it. Now I wish I unsaw what I saw and unclicked it.

while most southeast asians i know have never tried durian, i challenge you to find a single korean person who has never eaten kimchi. not really what you could call a delicacy.

You know what...I have no one but myself to blame for opening this thread. The title CLEARLY stated what I'd be getting myself into...but yet, sigh...I still had to click.

I'll be honest, I'm intrigued. I'd probably try it...would have to mentally prep myself a little bit, but I'd give it a shot. :)

Your pun is not wanted, there is sufficient outburst of feeling in this thread already to the subject. :P

every man has a price!

seriously, what would it take for people to try a shot? $100/$500 or more?

I don't see any conflict in here, I would not eat (or drink) sturgeon or rooster semen either.

No one has mentioned that they are also offering bull testicles. Ever heard of mountain oysters? ;)

Yum!
