I've never met anyone outside of my own family who eats this.

Cold Hot Dogs straight out of the package. I also like cold little smokies - no heat allowed. I would only eat these when I was alone at home - too embarrassed to admit I eat this way on occassion.

I finally broke down and admitted this to my older sister and said I wondered where I got this from. She laughed and said that when she would baby sit me and wasn't allowed to use the stove (pre-microwave days in the early 60's) she would feed me hot dogs that had been "warmed up" under the hot water tap. Now I know why cold hot dogs are comfort food - although I still eat them when I am by myself.

I buy packs of turkey-meat hot dogs and eat them raw (well, probably not 100% raw, but cold out of the package). They're soooooo good. Sometimes I'll slice them up into eggs or pasta, as well, but they can't be cooked in any way.

Chunky Peanut butter and sour plum jam on crackers.

Sourdough bread topped with Sharp Cheddar and toasted until brown and bubbly under a broiler, then topped with crisp bacon and slices of ripe tomato.

Grape Nuts with ripe peaches.

Having to search for (or make my own) BBQ sauce in which sugar, corn syrup or some intensely sweetened product is not one of the first 4 ingredients. On the day of Judgement, God will strike dead those who produce and consume sweet BBQ sauce.

I have eaten at McDonald's in both Paris and Rome.

Stagg Chilli is good for canned stuff, that is my confession :)

Good gawd. Long before they were a crappy motel chain, they were a crappy restaurant chain. Although, somewhere in DiningBuzz, I have confessed to liking a few items from their menu (corn & blueberry toastees, black raspberry ice cream and clam rolls).

I have traveled all over the US and never seen, but I am young :)
Of course if it said 'Howard Johnson' I probably put it on mental block.

Some of their hotel properties are very nice for the price IMO.

They were the kings of the highway back in the 50's and 60's. They had exclusive rights to rest area catering on the Mass turnpike and other toll roads. The last one I ate at was probably 1993 or so off I-81 in southwest VA, somewheres around Bristol.
