Do you try the recipes on TV?

As others have said, I watch for ideas and hints, not particular recipes.
However, Mrs UALfromMSN has requested that I make things she's seen on TV, so then it's time to track down the show, the recipe, and get to having fun, and reveling in the fact that she appreciates my efforts.

Mrs BamaVol is forever asking me to look for this recipe or that after she's seen someone on Oprah or GMA. She has made a couple herself, although she's not much into cooking and definitely not a Food Network fan.
I, on the other hand, watch the shows without planning to look for the recipes later. However, I will download recipes from celebrity chefs that may have appeared on their shows when I'm looking for something specific. I also have a half dozen cookbooks published by celebrity chefs.
