Solanera (2012 & 2013). This is Spanish and the only red wine I buy by the case (about $13 btl.). I buy from www.winelibrary.com. They have free shipping many times a month and no sales tax shipping to us Florida residents.

This is simple. Order from Wines Til Sold Out. I generally love their wines and I think they're almost always an incredible value, even if the savings are inflated. Plus, I don't have to think, which isn't exactly a strong point of mine.

For anyone who finds themselves in Woodinville (near Seattle) or Prosser...Kestrel Lady in Red can be had for $75-$85/case. Excellent value at $6-7/bottle. During Christmas last year they sold The Dance, which is a step up, for the same price.

Sunday night enjoyed a bottle of 2012 Cabernet from Dreaming Tree. I can't recall buying it and didn't remember that it was a joint venture between winemaker Sean McKenzie and musician Dave Mathews. I liked it enough to google it and the 2013 vintage is $15 online.

Picked up (two) bottles of Sebastiani Cabernet 2013 at Harris Teeter this afternoon. $15.99 before tax (I'll admit I was drawn to the fact that there were only two bottles left and then Googled it and saw it had some pretty favorable ratings online).
Pretty good choice - would buy again at $15.99
Slight sidetrack but anyone here do a monthly or quartely wine club that targets wines in this price range and have a recommendation? I'm usually too overwhelmed by all the different wines at the store and using Vivino or other online options doesn't really help. I'd love to "outsource it" but I don't want to end up with plonk I could've picked myself

I do K&L's monthly wine club at $30 for 2 bottles.

I like the wines enough that I end up re-ordering about half of the monthly selections.
Their shop is only a 5 minute drive from my office, so unfortunately, I don't know how much shipping costs.
I previously ordered a lot of wine from WTSO (wines til sold out) mentioned upthread. I generally found it a good value when 2 day shipping to CA was just a $10 add-on. Now that it's a $20 add-on, it's no longer worth it for me. There's no way I want my wine bouncing in a truck for a week across the country in the middle of summer - so the free ground shipping is a no go. Maybe it would be just fine for someone on the east coast, since I think they're in NJ??
Back OT, Hahn's 2014 SLH Pinot Noir can be had for $20, and it's a pretty nice CA style pinot.
