And I do mean "All" (North and South) American.
Tonight, what to make, what to make. Stuff needs cooking before it goes bad, but nothing really coordinated. Look in the cupboard. Rice stick. Fridge has ground turkey and broccoli florets - need using soon. Some sauces in the fridge - nothing enough to make something specifically anything, and no fresh herbs.
So ... pan fried the ground turkey with some seasonings and a bit of soy sauce, and some BBQ sauce, and the broccoli. Then cooked the rice stick and started to fry up like pad thai, but then put more BBQ sauce and aji chileno to spice it up, and then put the turkey and broccoli in, and then an egg on top just before the end, stirred in.
All in all, a pretty good emergency 'there's nothing to make' dinner. A few fresh herbs and other veggies and it would have been really good.
