Just put in a 6-pack of Shiner Ruby Redbird, "brewed with genuine Texas Rio Red Grapefruit, the signature sweet citrus of the Rio Grande Valley, and ginger. This lager beer features grapefruit tartness and finishes with a 'lil kick of ginger. With Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit and Ginger, Shiner Ruby Redbird is a crisp and refreshing summer beer."
Grapefruit in beer? Tried a sample in a store over the weekend. Very tasty and crisp. Wouldn't know the grapefruit's in there if you weren't told. |

Nice on the Steam. Classic and one of my faves. Gotta go get some....................

Butternuts Beer & Ale (Porkslap Pale Ale, in particular) comes in cans. Capital Brewery in Madison sells some nice selections in cans, too. Plus it allows me to ask my wife if she wants it in the can. That probably belongs in the "Jokes No One Else Thinks Are Funny" thread in OMNI. She never thinks it's as funny as I do. |

To deubster and Starwood Lurker, I had one of those Shiners with my BBQ at Coopers in New Branufels last weekend and I thought it was decent. Definitely a one-off for me, nothing I'd want a six pack of.
In my fridge right now I'm down to two Anchor Summer Brews and a twelve pack of Pacificos. |
New Holland "the poet" oatmeal stout.
|
Three Sam Adams Summer Brews. Not bad, though I wish they had a bit more lemon taste to them.

Not very much interesting stuff right now...
Palm, Grolsch, Erdinger Weizen Alcohol Free, Bavaria Wit 0% (actually quite nice in the afternoon), Pilsner Urquell, Budvar Budweiser :D, and some Hertog Jan I think, but only 1 or 2 bottles/cans of each... |
21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon (interesting that it's made in CA and I'm from CA but I had to order it from a liquor store in NJ?), Dogfish Head 60 min IPA, and Blue Moon Grand Cru.
|
I have no beer in the fridge, unless you count root beer. :(
|
Two bottles of Chimay blue and then just a bunch of other normal beers (rolling rock, red stripe, stella, modelo)
Really dig the Chimay though, but only with a friend haha. |
My Dad asked me to pick him up some IPAs last night so I got a sixer of White Eagle and a sixer of Harpoon. I like the White Eagle a lot ^
